The chaplain greets students, checks in with them, and helps them feel seen and supported. This connection makes a difference to regulars and newcomers. It’s just a quick check-in but it helps students know they are seen and cared for.

Over breakfast, conversations are also a highlight! This ranges from a student’s woodwork project, to joining the Army Cadets program, to bushwalking and career aspirations. With a full stomach and a positive start, students head to class ready for the school day ahead and are fuelled for learning.

Programs like Breakfast Club show that small, practical supports can strengthen student wellbeing and school connection. Your support for Korus Connect chaplaincy enables us to run this program in more locations and reach more students. Thank you.
