Huber Social's research found that regular participants in our Community Connector initiative in the City of Whitehorse enjoy a 29% higher rate of overall wellbeing than comparable community members who are not involved in the initiative.
The key aspects contributing to this wellbeing score were the participants feeling:
· less lonely
· more connected to their community
· a greater sense of purpose and things to hope for
· a meaningful connection with something bigger than themselves.
We thank Huber Social, Ian our Community Connector and all those who participated in the online survey.
